The first annual Deen Dayal Upadhyaya College Model United Nations Conference( DDUCMUN 2011) was hosted on 4th-5th August 2011, in collaboration with the United Nations Information Centre and the United Nations CSO Network at Conference Centre, University of Delhi, which was inaugurated by Professor K.V.Thomas(Minister of State- Food and Agriculture, Government of India).

With an organizing committee of more than 60 students, under the leadership of Devesh D Lalwani residing as Secretary General, DDUCMUN 2011 was not only the highlight of the National MUN calender but also one of the largest Model UN conferences that Asia had ever seen!

Having students participation from over 200 schools, colleges and universities from over 8 countries, including USA, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka etc. Totalling over 450+ students, this was indeed a great platform for potential young leaders to discuss issues pertaining to the matters that affect the society as a whole.
